I'm having a breast revision due to radiation damage.  I have saline now, but was wondering if I should change to silicone.   Do anyone you have experience with with option?

Thanks :)

My Dr. just went w/ Silicone, didn't give me an option since he likes them better. His nurse has had her breasts done. Orginally she had saline and then switched to silicone which she said she preferred.

thanks so much for your reply!  Right now I have saline, but was wonder about silicon.  Do you know why your doctor prefers silicon?

My PS prefers silicone, but if you are a candidate  for either he lets you make the choice yourself.  His thing with Saline is that it is one wiidth, where the silicone comes in three.  And he feels that the saline is easier to detect the edge after implants are in.

I have had both...had very bad pain with my saline. They moved around, turned hard in2 years and were plain ugly...and I even went to a Dr on the TV show Dr. 90210..... so I went to silicone and COULDNT BE HAPPIER!!
