This board is awesome!  I found so much valuable information and support here.  Thank you everyone.  I am pretty much back to normal now. I still have numbness and swelling but from reading lots of posts that is pretty normal it seems.  Looks like I could be one of those 6 months to year people before being completely back to normal.  That is okay.

Everyone is right that initially you love your results and then as swelling reduces and time passes you get a bit more critical.  I have loose skin under my breast bone because he didn't do that anchor cut thing.  Oh well.  Maybe with my BL they can somehow lift that skin up...I am hoping anyway.

I am going for a consult for the BL and arms in a couple of weeks.  I'm thinking of doing it in the fall again but just want to get several opinions so starting now.  I am not using the same surgeon.  I didn't like their after care (or lack of) at all.

I am back to running 4 miles and biking 22 miles in a session.  I am lifting weights again and going full steam ahead.  The only problem I have is this time of year I get so snacky and I am fighting the carb monster....gained about 10 lbs over the holidays when I was supposed to lose 10 lbs so now I have 20 to battle.  But, I know how to work my tool and that is what I am now doing.

It's good to read your update as I'm just a little behind you.  I'm also at the point of looking critically. I also have a granuloma that will need to be cut out during the next surgery. He did warm me my boobs would be pulled down with the LBL and he would move them back north with the BL, so I presume your loose skin will be addressed with a BL too?

I've become addicted to popcorn lately - and like you I'm scared about potential weight gain so as of tonight I cut it out - didn't have any treat after supper. I haven't gain any weight so I'm hoping I've caught it in time. LOL Maintenance is harder than shedding weight.

Looks like we r surgery sisters. My LBL was on 11/11. I still swell also especially if i don't wear some type of garment. I do love my results but i am becoming very critical. I also have loose skin undr my breast bone. I've already had my consult for the upperbody lift. which will be the arms, BL side of chest . With this round I will also have aggressive lipo to my thighs to prepare them for thigh lift next year. They are really bulky so he said if we do aggressive lipo first then we will get better results. I'm also haveing a little lipo on my abdomen. I'm thinking he is going to take a little of the skin off the top of my tummy when he does the BL kinda like a reverse tummy tuck. I'm scheduled for surgery on 03/09 at 8am. So when i go to preop on 03/02 I will have a ton of questions

Hey you!  Hows it going?  I also had a consult about thigh lift and was told that I needed to lose 10lbs, and have lipo first, then do the thigh lift...is this standard?  I am also considering having lipo to the bottom of my stomach and mons area (not sure if its fat or swelling yet).  Things with me are going good.  I will be praying for your upcoming surgery.

May I ask if you are paying outta pocket or did insurance cover any of it?

God is good all the time!!

Hello, Im doing pretty good. I am paying a portion out of pocket but because this is my second round and I have also sent 7 referrals to them in which 5 are already scheduled for surgery. I am getting an unbelievable deal.
