Post Op Day 12, FL 8 - last day in Monterrey
Stitches came out from eyes and back of ears, spent the morning cleaning up the dried blood and look much better. The bruising is still there, but getting better under the eyes, cheeks and neck still pretty dark.
My other stitches itch, can't wait for 6pm and Patty will be removing them. My last shower before I leave in the morning. Trying to get my terry pants dry, hanging from the window over the heater. Haven't figured out what I'm wearing home yet, but it will be comfortable.
I'm ready for Dr S to show up, then off to do some shopping, didn't feel much like it on Sun whenTom and I were out, but it's amazing what 2 more days of healing does.
Went to the movies yesterday by myself, saw Hereafter, missed the stuff in French w/Spanish subtitles, rent it again. Picked up a grande shrimp ****tail and ate 1/2. Will save the other 1/2 for tonight with my salami and cheese.
All in all a great trip, my abdomen swelling is going down and can see part of my shape. Best part is no muffin top or hanging panni and my thighs don't rub. Getting use to walking around with pads between my thighs and around the mons drain and crotchless garments. Looks like a lovely day for shopping.

Jenny - would make it difficult as I can't get in my garment by myself... every trip to the loo would have to have assistance. This way drop my mens drawers and pee or poop like a race horse! It is pretty darn convenient. Now, when I no longer have to wear a sanitary pad around my thigh stitches due to the leaking, may walk a little straighter!
I'm off to bed, have a 7am wake up call, put the netbook away and see if everything will fit in my carryon purse bag. it's too heavy for me to pack, so thank goodness for wheelchair assistance from MTY through to SAC. My daughter's going to love loading all my stuff.
