So just wanted to update it has been a year and a half since I had my plastics and I could not be any happier.
I do have a new addiction that my husband wants to kill me I recently purchased 18 victoria secret bikinis LOL but I have an excuse we are going on a three week vacation I can't possibly wear the same one twice right??? One for each day LOL
ANyway I just wanted to say that I was concerned about the boobs for awhile it did take a little over a year to get all the sensation back in the nipples but now everything is finally all good. So happy that I did it.
Best wishes to those of you getting ready to embark on this journey it is truly a great reward to give yourself so much better that food.

Good to know about the nipple thing.  I got all sensation back in my left nipple almost immediately, but the right side is a bit slower to come around...it's still partial.  I'm happy to know there's still a chance for full recovery.

Thank you for this post!  I'm a month out from TT with lipo and BA....and feeling so down!!!!   I'm at the point mentally where I wonder why I did this!  Pain, depression...I guess it's all part of it.  Plus I'm still so swollen and my boobs are hard, high and sore!  So,  I see your post and I am reminded to be patient!   Thank you!  I'm sure your husband will learn to appreciate your new addiction!

 Hi There,

Yes I wish someone had posted I was depressed and sore and also questioned why I did it I remember asking the surgeons nurse are you sure my boobs will get soft it took awhile but they did so hang in there I know we all want it to be instant but reality is it takes time just know that it gets so much better and you will be happy. I wi**** had not taken so long or someone had told me that it took so long I know my surgeon said it could take a year but I didn't believe him I thought he was just trying to have me not get upset. ANyway hang in there best wishes to you

cheers

Thats so funny.  my surgeon says a year too, and I always feel like he's just trying to keep me happy!  It seems ridiculous to feel depressed, doesn't it?  It's so exciting beforehand, and you can't imagine why anyone would be depressed after, but yet...here I am!   I stopped wearing my compression garmet for a few days, and started wearing it again yesterday.  i feel better with it on, more held together, and less swelling.

I have one boob that is getting softer and starting to settle, and the other is still quite high...I'm a little worried.  Whenever I go see my doc for follow up he reminds me to massage them three or four times a day, and he always does a massage...but it hurts!  So I find myself being resistant.  did you find that your breasts settled at different times?  Did your doctor recommend massage?

Yes my left softend first and settled a lill lower but eventually it ask worked out even one of my nipples seemed crooked and higher my surgeon said give it time if it stayed that way he would fix it but I couldn't ever believe that it would all settle in normal but it has. I did massage them often and I wore the compression garmets for almost six months at first I hated them then when I tried to not wear them I felt much like you almost naked like I needed to wear them I thought I would have a hard time giving them up but I finally weaned myself from them lol. It is frustrating in the beginning but I'm do glad now this sumner I am finally going to enjoy my vacation at the beach and the pool in my bikini lol hang in there it is going to be well worth it

I'm glad you said this too.  My left one had sensation immediately, my right one - none at all.  My Dr just said "I didn't do anything to it"... so.. I figured it was gone forever.

I'll be patient!
