how long before you tried different cloths after panniculectomy/TT?  Did your size decrease?  Did things fit funny or wierd?

I am so excited about all this pannis being gone that I am starting to dream of wearing jeans with my shirt tucked in.

I'm 9 weeks post-op LBL with butt aug and still in the same size.  I'm thinking I might not go down a size at all, which is fine with me.  I don't want to be smaller than a 6.  I am looking forward to them fitting better, though.  :)

I know that the pannis area is gonna be smaller.  I  will just have to wait and see.

BTW, Tessy. I noticed we have very similar stats and I think our results are similar, too. Same height, same weight, same size. I bet my size will stay the same, too, which is fine now that I don't have to hide my skin in shapewear and my clothes should fit better, when my swelling goes down. I also look forward to wearing lower rise jeans, which was impossible with my extra skin and shapewear.

I'm 5 weeks post lbl and still bigger than pre-op. Hopefully it's due to swelling and I will get at least back to my original measurements!!

Yea I am still swollen too.  I have uped my protien intake and I stay away from intential salt so we will see.  I hate this long recovery.

I am 2 months post anchor cut tummy tuck and arm lift.  The first month I wore an abdominal binder 24/7 and couldn't button the waist of pants - so wore dresses.

Month 2 - I wore a corset compression garment and firm compression briefs.  I could fit into my current size 6.  Saw surgeon Friday and no more compression garments.  The waist of my pants are loose but I think I will stay in the same size.  Above  belly button is smaller and really flat - but that doesn't affect my pants size.  I don't like pants/jeans to fit tight - it makes me nauseated to have restriction on belly.

My surgeon and his assistant told me I would probably wear my binder for a good while and that I was still swollen.

As I look down and see 14 + pound pannis gone I can't help but wonder what I might look like in a pair of jeans.  I will also be losing a few more pounds I hope so that will make a difference also.

I am 8 days po from my TT and I can fit into my preop stuff. I am pretty swollen though, so expect to probably drop a size or two. My dr said not to expect the swelling to go down appreciably for months though.

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

I was told by my surgeon it could be 6 months or more depending on my healing process and that each one of us is different so I am doing everything he says to do and hoping for the best.  I am walking around some, sleeping alot in the recliner wearing my binder and emptying my drains lol.

Pain meds still a must, lots of water, protien and vits.  I just want to look good in pants with a shirt tucked in.  Oh and I want to look in my scrubs.
