Breast implants settling?
I had breast lift done April 1st, 2011 and just about three and half weeks ago had the implants done, along with other plastic surgery. Just spoke with my surgeons office because I noticed one breast is sitting higher than the other and it was really bothering me. Anyone else out there who has had breast implants, can you tell me how long it took for your implants to settle and form to your body? My surgeon said this is perfectly normal and I am too early in the healing stage for them to be settled. Just wondering how long its going to be before they do?
I think it was somewhere around the 5-6 week mark that mine appeared settled to me. They can continue to change as more time passes. It's not uncommon for them to be high in the early stages and they can drop at different times. Your surgeon might also have you wear a tight strap that fits across the tops of your breasts that helps to push them down. I had to do that for a week or so to bring my right implant down to be even with the left one.

Thanks Renee! Its just a comfort to hear that I'm not alone. I was unaware that this could happen so when I saw one breast sitting higher than the other it freaked me out...I thought OMG I'm gonna have to go back in, he left one boob higher than the other. Thankfully his nurse was wonderful and explained so much more to be about the implants. Hopefully it will settled like you said in the next few weeks. I'm four weeks post plastics Saturday, so I hope its soon. I feel alittle silly with one breast riding so high. But relieved I'm not a freak of nature and its normal. Thanks for the post!
