I re-gained what I lost on the table - 7 #s

Hi-

I lost 115#s naturally.  On 8/23/10 I had a TT/panni with lateral exxtension and medial thigh lift.  They took 7 pounds of skin during the surgery.  For the first three months I maintaned and then I gradually crept back up and am back to the pre-surgery weight having regained the 7#s lost on the table.  This feels like a good weight for me and easy to maintain.  No one has been able to see the weight gain and all my new clothes still fit.  Honestly, i'm wondering where it went.  Is this typical?  Should I really be worried and trying to get it off?  Obviously, I know I cannot gain any more.

I am on the high side at 172# for my big boned 5'8" frame.  I'm eager to hear your POV.

Thanks,

Beth

Awwwwwwwv try not to worry about it too much. I'm just 2 days out but hardly eating right now b/c of stomach tightness so any weight lost will probably be back. I think the real challenge is finding a weight you can realistically maintain and it sounds like you have which is great!

Beth - I understand!  My surgeon removed 5 pounds.  I never lost 5 pounds!  Plus I didn't have any loss of appetite after surgery.  I beileve we know / our bodies know if we are doing the right things and if we are at our healthiest weight.  (I'm not!)

All the best!

I had about 6 pounds removed.  Then I dropped way below that due to not eating (lack of appetite) and now I'm back to almost my pre-surgery weight.  I probably gained most of that 6 back.  Then I seemed to stop, too.  Maybe this is just where our bodies want to be?
