Tender breasts after BL...how long?

I had my breast lift 2.5 weeks ago.  My breasts are still very tender.  I'm not taking any pain meds (none since day three), and my breasts are probably as sore today as they were day 4.  They feel like a bad month of PMS or like my baby should have fed 2 hours ago

How long were your breasts tender after your BL?

And when can I go shopping for new bras?  I have a victoria's secret gift card burning a hole in my pocket!

Sorry you're uncomfortable.  I had my thigh lift at the same time so I took pain meds for about two weeks and wasn't in any pain then or afterwards.  If took several months for all the swelling to go away.  I would wait at least three months before bra shopping.  I do wear the same size now that I did before the lift.  I started wearing a new brand - Le Mystere - they're pricey but worth every penny.  Happy shopping.

Thanks for that.  I've heard of that bra - and heard good things!

They don't ache all the time - just if I touch them or brush up against something.  Almost like they are SUPER sensitive...so just a brush against them HURTS.

I'm 5 weeks out.  I had the lift and implants.  I'm getting to the point now that I don't notice them all the time.  I wear a cami or a sports bra.  I do notice them more if I don't wear one of those.  They seem to hurt at night if I lay on my side.  I was told not to wear an underwire. I forget how long he told me not to wear one.  It's too bad because there are so many cute underwires out there now.  The good thing is that I don't need an industrial strength bra anymore.

I love sleeping on my side. I keep a very soft pillow there and hug it - it supports the "girls" and stops ache.

I have incisions under my breast and they are tender- can't imagine wearing an underwire!!

Sorry you're having pain. My breast were never in any pain after my lift. They were easy. I just went shoping for bras at 7 weeks out. I wanted to make sure the swelling was mistly gone. I'd been wearing sprots bras before then (and still do most of the time because they're comfortable).

I still cannot wear cute bras. I have a bit of that ugly bra bulge/back fat going on. I'll get rid of it when I get my implants.

I'm hoping most of that skin is gone. We discussed it (mine was armpit only, none at the back) and he said he pulled it up. But it will be hard to tell until I try on a Demi cup bra...

Hi , I had  my lift and implants 10 weeks ago. At the beginning, they were sensitive a lot just at the touch, then came the hitching on the scars.  They said that it is part of healing.  I now can sleep easy on either sides.

As for a cute bra,  I am still wearing a support bra (not sport) and it does not have wire, just flexible type of plactis instead.

I hope it does help and be patient

Madame,
What i****ching???  I'm afraid to ask.  Also, what the name of that bra with the flexible type of plastic.  That sounds like something I might like to try.  Thanx, Jenny
