Tender breasts after BL...how long?

I'm curious about thi****ching thing as well.

My surgeon told me to use tagederm on the underside of my breasts for a month, like a demi-cup, to reduce sag.  It does seem to make a difference.  I just use one of those "bandeaux" type bras over that - very little support...just holds things close to the chest if you know what I mean.  Comfortable for sleeping as well.  

I'm DYING to buy new bras!! ;0)

oh my go**** just hit me. It was a typo; she meant itching.  I am such a dunce.  I had imagined puckering or something.  LOL

You could buy your new bras and keep the receipts in case you have to return them.  At least you'd have a dream of what was to come!

Hi there...I am working to get the same procedures you had done. My insurance has denied me so I am appealing their decision. I am wondering if your insurance paid for these procedures? I appreciate any words of advice. Thanks!

I think I was 5mo out or so before I started buying new bras.  I did go down from 40D to 38D.  I was in my bra/arm compression garment for almost 3mo.  When I wasn't in that, I was wearing support bras.  I still wear the support bra at night with my abdomen garment due to swelling.  My breasts weren't that tender, the stitches didn't come out for 3 weeks, then probably another 3 to completely heal over and have the scabs off, except for 2 little areas.  I will probably be going back for an UBL to get rid of my upper back loose skin.  The side boobage needs to stay, as Dr Sauceda showed me, if I raise my arms, it's gone, but when they are at my side, I have loose skin.  Maybe some of it will disappear with the UBL. 

Try tylenol and see if that helps with the discomfort.  You are still very early out.  It will get better.

I don't have any stitches to remove -and all my incisions are completely healed up.  No scabs or anything.  I haven't take pain pills since days 3.  And really it only hurts when I touch them or something else touches them - not all the time.  But when I do - ZINGER!!  So weird.

5 months - I don't know if I can wait!! ;0)  My girlfriends didn't get me flowers after surgery - they got me a nice, big Victoria's Secret gift card...and I'm dying to spend it! lol

If it's zingers, it could be the nerve endings around the nipple.  Some folks complained that when the feeling started coming back that they felt these zingers like an electrical jolt.  I never really had those.  I get tinglings in my face, as more of the nerve endings heal, but no real zingers.  You may still be swollen and you want to wait until you are back to normal size before you spend that gift card.  I ended up with 2 new bras and 4 panties when vickie's had their last sale.  Then another 30% off as their registers were down, so my daughter picked up my stuff 2 days later.  Sweet deal.  I do love my new red bra and panties... makes me finally feel sexy and a little naughty.

I'm dying to buy one of those little "sets' that match!  I've never worn one before!!

I did try on a couple of bikini tops I own...I usually bought the kind that have an underwire and lift my boobs.  I had one that is more of the long triangles...I never wore it before because it didn't have enough "lift".  But now it seems to work great (except it is WAY too big).  I'd like to find a couple bikini tops in that style too - it doesn't push up the side-skin...I guess the size part wouldn't be so "touchy" with those - as I'd just buy a small...

What i****ching???  I'm afraid to ask. ,,,,             well you know that it is a typo for itching and God it itchs at night when I am mostly tired. 

  The bras that I wear is  : WARNERS, number 01397.  These are my best  'Girl`s  Friends'.
