Burning stabbing pain along pubic line 10 months after tummy tuck
Hey everyone! Im looking to see if I can find anyone who has this issue. 10 months ago I had a tummy tuck and breast implants at the same time. Since my tummy I have had pain along my pubic line up into the stomach muscle. I had three seromas and one infection during the first few weeks after surgery. Now Im all healed but still having that burning stabbing sensation and sometimes a lump forms under the incisions. My pubic area is always sore. No bruising or redness just feels bruised constantly. Any thoughts?
You need to see your PS, I am not a doctor but that sounds like a possible fistula formation or abcess among many other things.
Make sure you keep a record of your temp to make sure you don't have a hidden infection.
But please see your PS. You should never have constant soreness like that. The lumbs should be a concern also.
Please take care of you,
Carla

Ive had this pain since the very first day after surgery. Ive just been hoping that it was tight muscles and not anything really wrong. I could deal with the pain if its still healing but now Im starting to wonder if there is something wrong. My surgeon is over an hour away while I know its not an excuse not to go its just so inconvienent to go all the way there. I was hoping someone would say it was normal this far out. But so far no one has said that lol the bumps come and go, the muscle sometimes protrudes out, but the pain of the burning stabbing bruising is always there. I had an infection just after the surgery according to a culture done on some of the fluid from the seroma, and was given antibiotics, I felt fine after that and didnt have any issues. I had 5 drain tubes in total because my seromas kept opening at the incision site. The other issue I has is that in my breast aumentation 2 months after I developed capsular constriction which needed a follow up surgery and $2000 more dollars - needless to say that while I think my surgeon is a good one - im a little over having complications and my insurance covers nothing of the sorts - complications or not.
Aw you poor thing. Trust me, I know money is tight. But you really need to see what is going on with that soreness and all the other symptoms you are having.
Can you go to your PCP instead?
I sure hope you find an answer soon.
