Okay, I can have one or the other this year and do the next the following year. I need a BL w/ augmentation bad.. My boobs look really small and my intimacy with my hubby is suffering..

My tummy hangs over.. I really hate it..ughh.. If I got my Tummy tuck then, pants would fit alot better..

Or, should I really be patient and do them both the following year??

That's the choice I was facing. My first consult was $28,700 for both. Now I'm considering Dr Sauceda in Mexico after reading just about every post on the Sauceda patient board. For just a little more than half I can have LBL, boobs, arms and thighs including airfare and 12 full days of care. His patients all seem very happy with his work.

You can also check out a residency program.

I'll be choosing between Dr Sauceda and a local doctor I saw last week that I really liked. She had some of the best ideas of anyone I saw and was about 30% less than all the other doctors I talked to. So there might be a way to find a better price with a qualified surgeon.

Ooh, did you get a consult with Dr. Mary Peters? I haven't heard much about her, but I've been curious about her work.

TurtleShell - yes, I saw Dr. Peters this week. She's running a no cost consultation on realself. Really liked her but don't want to hijack the thread. My husband and I decided tonight to go with her. I'll PM you.

Oh and when I thought I was going to choose boobs or tummy I had two thoughts. One was to do tummy first (in my case LBL mostly for butt and thighs) because then I knew my husband would still be motivated to do boobs later. If I did boobs first he'd be more likely to try to talk me out of LBL saying i look fine in clothes. Now I'm kind of excited about doing boobs, I've never ever liked mine so it would be hard to wait now that I've got that in my head.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I would never seek medical treatment in mexico.. I dont even trust the candy thats made in mexico..I will pay alot more for a board certified surgeon in CA. I only have one life and I am certainly not going to use price as the main factor when choosing a surgeon.. No offense to those who go to Mexico for medical treatment but I dont trust it.

I guess I could ask the surgeon ? I'm thinking boobs becauste.. at least my sex life would get back on track.. plus I still have another 10 pounds I want to lose.. maybe my tummy could wait.

WOW,  I sure hope you grow your own vegetables. If not, it just might be from Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would pick tummy, no question.  You can always enhance the boobies with undergarments....and they can look fabulous, but the tummy is harder to hide in tighter fitting clothes.  I had one PS tell me that for women, once they get a tight abdomen, they are usually happy with other stuff.

I definitely understand your concern about Mexico. I'd feel that too if I hadn't had my sleeve surgery in Mexico. I had a sleeve there and hernia repair here with one of the better surgeons in Seattle. Both the care and the incisions were better with the doctor in Mexico. But then Id done my research and knew Dr. Aceves had done more sleeves than anyone in the world but Cirangle. But then that was for a sleeve and plastic surgery is different. Dr Sauceda is the only one out of the US that made my short list for plastics. And I still would rather not be away for 2 weeks.

oh and I'm definitely with you when it comes to choosing on price. That can't be my only concern so if, in the end I decide the doctor here is better for me that will be my choice.

In the case of my sleeve I price had nothing to do with it. I did not want most of my stomach removed and go home the same day. I wanted the most experienced surgeon and a hospital stay even if I had to travel.
