Hi,
I had my inner thigh lift done two days ago and just put a few pictures on my profile.
It hurts! But it's slowly getting better.
Dont be alarmed by the incision closure, it looks like pie crust, or a rope. My PS uses that technique on purpose. I had the same type of closure on my LBL and arms and am thrilled with the way they're healing. I have pictures of my arm lift from May on there, too if anyone wants to look.

My surgeon is Dr Joseph Capella. Yes, he did all the incisions that way. Thank God he warned me and showed pictures of I would have freaked!
Basically he raises the skin into that rope or pie crust looking shape with a dissolvable suture, and then the incision line is the thin line across the top of the "pie crust". As it heals, the internal suture dissolves, the scar flattens, and becomes just the thin line. He said that doing it that way reduces the tension on the scar and makes it thinner. There are parts of my arm scar that at 5 months are really next to nothing.

Not all leg lift incisions go down that far. We discussed doing that on me because I had a lot of fat and excess skin around my knees. I always had a big "fat pad" lump on the inside of my knees. The scar doesnt bother me as much as the lump of fat and excess skin there did. Plus, the scars from my arm lift he did have flattened and faded very nicely.
