I had a bl/ba and brachioplasty on Oct. 18th, so I am 11 days out.  I felt pretty good the next day, just laid on the couch.  Same for the 2nd and 3rd days, after that I was getting antsy.  I made trips (no driving) to a couple of friends homes in my neighborhood and went out to lunch with hubby.  Attended my daughters volleyball game on the 6th day.  AFter my 1 week checkup I was Christmas shopping with hubby.  Today I took the girls halloween costume shopping.

Like some others have said... just really watch the reaching, pulling, lifting.  My biggest problem and the most pain came from those darn compression sleeves.  They hurt so badly on the inside of my elbows... they actually bruised in the creases.  To combat that I had to keep my arms almost straight.

I had tons and tons of swelling the first 3-4 days.  According to my scale, I peed out about 8 lbs of fluid during that time!

Good luck!

i had both breast lift, then another date the extended armlift and implants..... its not bad at all!!! the inplants were the worst part(behind the muscle)... the arms are interesting because with the extended it goes through the armpit, and mine down into the bra line. the armpit is tight, and in about 2 weeks after surgery you do need to start stretching so the scar dosent heal tight. i am 6 weeks post op and are back to my regular rourines at the gym, i do alot of weight training. The silicone strips seem to be the best for healing, but you should switch off with bio oil or cocobutter with vitamin e to massage when your doc says its ok. The breast lift... i didnt even need ibuporophen... was great!!! good luick!

God Bless..pay it foward..Christine
