extended brachioplasty done
i went to my PS last week.. I am soo tired of the way my arms look.. was yours covered by insurance... have u heard if insurance covers it... thanks
thanks Garnet - I wish I had good news for you on the insurance front but alas, no insurance coverage. I have Blue Cross of Texas and they considered the surgery cosmetic. I didn't have a hospital stay - day surgery only - the total price for anesthesia, doctor and facility was just over $8,000. I have heard some people had insurance coverage but it is not very common. I don't regret spending the money at all. I went to the doctor yesterday and all is healing well. I go back to see the doctor in 2 weeks. Lots of swelling, black and blue marks etc., but even swollen my arms look awesome to me. (And I had pregnant bat wings lol)
best of luck to you - this is certainly one surgery I would recommend to anyone fighting large, ugly bat-wing arms.
