I would do the abdominoplasty once to include the panniculectomy. The cost will be less, you will have one recovery, pain once - as my surgeon says, pain is pain.  Although I must say that I had a LBL and thigh lift and I have more numbness from the LBL and pain/discomfort in the thighs.  Body is very stiff.

I was told there would be little weight loss from skin. I had 12 pounds removed on 8/29 and am down a good 10 pounds since the surgery, which did not show up right away.

Doesn't your surgeon want your weight to be stable for at least a year? You may be doing yourself a disservice. Many people gain weight back after weight loss surgery. If you still have 25-30 pounds to lose, that tells me that your weight has not been stable.

Don't rush into this. It is going to last you a life time if done right.

to be honest with you, it is best to wait until you are at your goal and stable.  IF you plan to have revisions later - that is fine, but why put your body through that?  Your body will look so much better, heal better and you will be much happier if you are at a stable weight before your plastics.  Seriously, the arms will suffer a lot if you lose more later.  My surgeon says, "plastic surgery is not a weight loss measure."  in other words, don't have plastics thinking it will get you to your goal.  Once you're at goal, your body will change a lot - many times the changes are good ones and your surgeon can work with what he/she finds there,.

I have to agree that waiting for goal gives the surgeon a much better canvas to work with.  I know you want the best possible results from your plastics.

Wishing you the best!
