So last night my arm hole that was about 3/4" long by 1/8" wide at it's peak, closed up after doing the wet to dry pack for a week and a half - half the time predicted by the doctor - yes!!!  I have one more - it was about the same size as the above, but under my arm that didn't open up until the 17th, and I notice it is shrinking, and should be closed by the time I go back to the dr on the 1st.  I guess the stitch spitting BS can start about week 4 and go to about week 6, so I hope I should be done, fingers crossed. 

Yes, no problems on either legs, have been doing silicone tape and lotion for the past two weeks already.   

Another suggestion for you to aid with healing - is to make sure you're getting lots of ....you guessed it protein:)  I've also been taking lots of vitamins, arnica, bromelain and l-arginine.

At this point my whole body is full of chicken lol All I eat and drink is protein with a side of protein drenched in protein. :I

Nice with the legs. I am so excited to get my thighs done! Can't wait! DO you notice any help with the scar using that stuff? I had a lbl a few years ago and never put anything on it.... looks good expect the sides.

Yeah I haven't noticed any difference yet, but it's only been a week or so since I've been using the strips. 

I just remembered that I had a small spot that opened up on my left leg.  The PS recommended a petroleum infused gauze that also has bismuth in it  The nice part about it is that it kept the spot moist all day long and the bismuth promoted healing.  I would put a patch of that on and cover it with a non-stick gauze pad.  I was still wearing my compression garment so that kept everything in place.  You can't buy them in the drugstore - he gave me a big supply - I bought some from amazon and added them to my first aid kit because they did such a good job.

I had the same doctor as you and this happened to me. I think his complication rate is high with these big surgeries - 50-75% - because he is very aggressive. Not many doctors will do these. 

I know... I love how aggressive he is! H knows what he is doing and hes not scared. I would rathe both arms open and get these results than still have saggy on my arms.

I just wished that he had not downplayed recovery and the things that I would go through. He made it sound easy. It was anything but that. The opening was not the only complication that I endured. I am happy with the way that my arms look now. But I am not happy with my other results. 

I am sorry to hear that! My right arm is open and at the incision line I have a bit of wrinkling (like the skin doesn't match up) but I guess thats it. He did a good job otherwise but he did some major lipo so the recovery was way more than I thought, I mean waaaaay more. I also got my boobs done.

If you dont mind me asking what else did you have done and why dont you like it? I ask because I was thinking of him doing some more work on me!

I do not like my tummy tuck. He did not remove enough fat. When I spoke to him about it he pulled out the scale and told me to step on it and told me that it was my fault because I gained weight. That is a crock. I don't like my butt because it is now flat. I also do not like my boobs as they are much smaller than he told me they would be. So my tummy is larger, my butt is flat, and my boobs are smaller. My arms are the only thing that came out nicely.
