Panniculectomy is a surgery that causes temporary pain and discomfort, especially in the first week, but the pain is usually tolerable and well-controlled with medication. The drainage tubes (drains grow a garden) may be inconvenient and uncomfortable, but they are not the most painful part and play a very important role in helping you recover safely.

The most difficult part only lasts about 1?2 weeks, after which your body will improve significantly every day. In return, this surgery can offer long-term benefits such as reduced discomfort, improved mobility, easier hygiene, and enhanced quality of life.
