What Plastic Surgeries Do You Dream Of ?

I had GB 16 years ago and have kept most of the excess weight off. Now that I have absolutely NO money at my disposal ( fighting to save my home ) it's time to dream II think .

Im an apple shape and I had lower body surgeries with Dr. Sauceda in Monterey. Thigh lift, LBL , butt and lipo. Also had arms and neck lift / tightening.

As far as I'm concerned Dr. Sauceda is an amazing sculptor of the human body as well as a very caring, careful MD . I love going to him for any body work .

My plans are for an upper body lift particularly to deal with bra overhang and a thick waist and protruding upper stomach . Can' t get rid of the jelly rolls with diet or exercise- I'm simply built that way. Going to consult on dowagers hump liposuction too - I have an unattractive fat pad on the back of my neck or between my upper shoulders that makes my neck appear thick and far too forward. This has to be done in the States unfortunately.

The other project I'm planning is a nose revision . Right now it's noticeably asymmetrical ( a few falls breaking it didn't help ) again I'm getting prices here in the States .

I've always thought about a rhinoplasty to refine the shape of my nose, maybe a little contouring to make it match my facial features better. Other than that, I?d consider something subtle like Botox or fillers to keep things fresh as I age. But honestly, self-confidence is the most important part, so it's all about how I feel about myself!

I did it on my thighs as a precursor to a long thigh lift. I regret it. It was a bit painful and the bruises were horrific (gravity eventually pulls them down to your ankles which is freaky). But for me it was a disaster because my body had a response that I only learned later was a known side effect. My plastic surgeon had done my full body lift with the thigh lift set as a later procedure. Although I still had excess fat in my thighs she was worried about me losing any more weight because my face and upper body were starting to look gaunt. Here's a summary of the side effect.

"The goal of liposuction surgery is not to lose weight, but to have a more desirable body shape by removing stubborn areas of fat. This is a common misconception and you should seek to understand this before getting liposuction as there are much more reliable ways of losing weight. The side effects of liposuction can actually cause you to gain weight instead.

Liposuction patients often experience rapid and significant weight gain following the procedure as the body aims to recoup fat and redistribute the remaining fat cells. The affected areas fill with fluid that the body uses to heal, which will cause weight gain in some areas of the body and may leave you feeling as though the procedure has failed."

Basically when the ratio of white to brown fat changes due to lipo, some bodies go into overdrive trying to reset it. Lucky me!

If my surgeon had known and warned me I would never have done it. I'd have just lost five more pounds and had the lift. I didn't want to do it but she felt the results would be better her way. I was never able to have the surgery because I had a hard time maintaining my weight after that.

I am also considering an upper body lift and have similar concerns about the back/block blast. Please keep us updated if you continue with the consultation, I would love to hear how it goes.
