Same here! I had my vsg done 2010 lost 100 lbs now here I am fatter then before and my ins won't cover DC or saddie only bypass , and the dr said I will only loose Maybe 20 more lbs but need it done because of gerd. I want the saddie

is there anything I can do to get my insurance to pay? I have united healthcare?

I had Gastric bypass surgery in 2010 and lost 107 lbs. I kept it off for 8 years and gained back 60 lbs. I had a different insurance back then and till date no new insurance have questioned that. In September 2024 I started the ZepBound injections and so far I've lost 61 lbs. my insurance covers it with a $30 refill charge for 4 infections (I take one injection weekly). I got approved because of my High Blood Pressure. Since Im loosing weight again now I'm off most of my meds including anxiety, sleeping pills as well as my prescription for the blood pressure medicine has gone down. I still have very little appetite. The most important thing that helped me to lose weight is to completely stop drinking alcohol and no sugary drinks or fried food. Good luck with the surgery and insurance.

It's important to take all the recommended vitamins. I made a mistake ignoring that advice and now my bones are really weak. I fell and fractured my wrist that needed a surgery. The bone was so weak that they need to put two pieces of titanium objects to hold it together.
