Hi! Was wondering if anyone knew of a doctor around Pittsburgh that would do revision. I had an RNY in October 2003 which was highly successful, however the last 5 years I put on weight again (50 from my lowest weight). If anyone can help or provide info and referrals I would deeply appreciate it. Thank you!

Hello,

You should be able to do this with your pcp. Mine (I?m in Pittsburgh too) brought it up at my last appointment. He said a lot of his patients have had success with it.

The thread on the ObesityHelp forum about Pittsburgh revisions is full of candid stories from members undergoing bariatric surgery revisions, coping with physical and emotional challenges, and evaluating outcomes. Many contributors discuss how navigating insurance, surgery logistics, and recovery protocols can feel overwhelming. Thread after thread underscores that when financial and procedural steps are unclear or drawn out, trust and motivation take a hit. Smooth transactional flows - such as intuitive payment processes - help keep participants focused on healing rather than hurdles. For example, examples like https://thepokies.net.nz/payments highlight how transparent, userâ?'friendly payment systems reduce friction and stress, reinforcing that clarity and reliability matter just as much as the medical journey.
