need some help!!!!!

This is my first time on here,hope I do well... Anyway I have my first dr.appt next week is there anything I can do or say that will help getting approved by the insurance provider???Also,what paperwork should I take to this appointment if any at all???Please help I'm not sure what to do!!!! Just tell your doctor what you need and hopefully they will help you. I contacted my insurance company first and asked them what it took. They were very helpful and actually did approve it.....after a few hoops.

Angela; Take your diet history of what diets you've tried, the dates you were on them and your starting and ending weight for each one. If you haven't already, call your insurance provider and find out what their requirements are. Blessings, Jennifer 253 / 159 / 137

My surgeons office sent me a HUGE packet to fill out prior to my appointment. Also on my first visit gave me a list of all the possible tests, what tests I did have to have as well as what paperwork they needed for the insurance company. Hopefully yours will do the same... if not your insurance provider can provide you with their criteria for approval and that should help!
