Eating
Try to cut out the snacking. Measure your food and use www.fitday.com to monitor what you are eating. If you want to have that snack, then you'll have to cut down on what you eat during regular meal time. Are you getting enough water? Are you drinking liquids with your meals? Drinking liquids with your meals will push your food through much quicker leaving you feeling hungry. Don't drink liquids 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after you've eaten. Good luck!
My NUT says 2 snacks a day is fine - follow what yours says. Some people are told no snacks!!! My eating schedule is breakfast, snack, lunch, snack dinner. Reason being surgeon/NUT do not want me to rely on protein shakes.... after 8 weeks post-op I am to being to ween myself off them and get my protein from food. So far it seems like that would be hard without eating the two snacks (they are to be high protein snacks!! no junk!!!). If you feel you are eating too much try measuring out your food... I was told up to 8 weeks out to be eating meals no bigger than 3 tablespoons (1/4th cup). You may want to try an online calorie/food tracker if you are super worried. Also was told to keep my meal to a 1/2 hour (45 mins max)! Since you are eating slowly you could technically never get "full" and just keep on eating... thats why portion size is important
