I get a TON of great ideas from participating in the "Eating Good" thread each night.  Just read what everyone else is eating, check their surgery date and find others who are at your same level to find ideas that would be right for you. I also tend to make at least 1 of Eggface's recipes each week.  I just made another batch of her chicken/zucchini casserole that I'll have for lunches all week Pam

is that just a topic in the general thread? i havent seen it

Yes, it's a topic on the General Forum. Someone posts the thread every single night around dinnertime --- people list everything they ate that day.  I personally also report on my calories, protein grams, if I took my vitamins, drank all my water and did my exercise.  It keeps me accountable to myself because I know I'll have to post the foods I eat .. There's also a similar thread here on the RNY board.  It's posted in the morning usually.  I don't respond to that thread because by the time I'm done eating for the day the thread is buried. Pam

I'm further out than you but I eat alot of  yogurt, canned chicken that I make chicken salad with, beef jerky, scrambled eggs, south beach diet dinners, chicken, beef, and some protein bars if they have at least 15 grams of protein in them but not very often. I still drink 1 protein drink everyday because I try to get at least 80 grams of protein in a day.

How about Italian? Just get some Boar's Head pepperoni at the deli.  Wrap it around a mozarella cheese stick. Microwave, dip in some low sugar marinara or spaghetti sauce. Heat up a few turkey meatballs in some spag sauce, sprinkle on some shredded cheese or put in some ricotta. Low carb pizza - low sugar spag sauce, your favorite toppings.  I broil my tortilla on both sides first to get it crispy. I dont like it doughy. I also like to make lasagna out of stir fry vegs and chicken OR italian sausage.  Layer just like you would lasagna but with stir fry vegs.

Soynuts!!  Love 'em!  They've got fiber, good-for-you fats, and 11 g of protein in 1 oz.  Yummy! Buy Jenny-O  ground turkey with italian seasoning. Just roll the ground turkey into balls, bake in the oven, and serve with low-sugar tomato sauce. 1 lb makes 12 small meatballs. Turkey pepperoni.  17 slices is one serving with only 4 g of fat and 9 g of protein.  I like to munch this with a few slices of fresh green bell pepper and a small dollop of low-fat bleu cheese dressing. Simply Jif peanut butter (lowest in sugar) on whole wheat saltine crackers. ...just a few of my recent favorites. Heather

I'll give some advice on breakfast since everyone else has picked lunch and dinner... I eat either Quaker Weight control Oatmeal (high protein/fiber and low sugar) or Boiled Egg and Ham or Breakstone Individual Cottage cheese and DelMonte Splenda Peaches. For a quick Snack - Micorwaved Edame or a TBSP of peanut butter.
