I smell like vitamins ALL the time

Ok so whats the deal with this?  It seems like everywhere i turn on my body i smell like multi-vitamins???  Or is it coming out of my breath?  My DH says i am paranoid but i smell them all over me .... HELP

I wouldnt be complaining if i smelled like cherries but IKKKK we all know that multi's dont smell sexy, lol

Anyone have this issue?  Anything we can do??  Or am i paranoid???

I'm no doctor, but I have experienced this when I was first post-op.  Since you are newly post-op right now, it's likely the culprit is KETOSIS!  You're body is burning off that fat and the result can sometimes be different and weird body odors.  I cant recall all of the technical details, but try googling it and you'll get lots of info.  Another common thing with ketosis is bad breath.   You can try to help that by keeping your mouth hydrated with plain old water - keep the water bottle handy at all times and sip, sip, sip.

But, most important - dont worry!  It's only temporary and honestly, you're probably the only one who notices it.  It seems like other people can't really smell it at all.

i just posted about this last week...its driving me crazy also...i can smell it coming out of the pores in my arms...(wasnt for sure if it was the protein drinks or vitamins - but its probably BOTH) coming out...i kept having my mom smell my arms the week after surgery...its still grossing me out...im 3 weeks out almost...my HOUSE even smells like vitamins or protein...its cool here in WV so tomorrow...im opening every window to get a good cross-wind going and air it out...and clean the crap outta my house...as for the vitamins...i had the flintstones multivitamin and decided i wasnt putting another nasty one of those in my mouth again so last night i got the GUMMY flintstones vitamins rather than the origional chalky ones - the GUMMYS are great!  i might get this stuff under control after all!!!

Ok so i am taking the flinstones also .. or the costco brand - same chalky ones.  I am thinking its that also - do the gummies have that yucky vitamin smell also?

I know there are worse things i can smell like and i shouldnt be complaining BUT HELL I am complaining  lol

It hasnt made its way thru my house, lol - but my clothing smells like them after i take my clothes off and everything.  I am so so so sure its being released in my pores, lol

So if i am going to smell like what i put in my mouth these days, if i eat lemons will i smell like a refreshing burst of citrus breeze

the GUMMY vitamins dont have the smell OR the taste...the sheets on my bed smell like it too so those are comin off...everything is being washed...candle is being burned in every room...hopefully that will help...i hear it gets better...lemon does sound good right now!

Its probably the ketosis...the fat coming out of your body.  It does get better, but just know you are a burn'in fat! :)

FYI...the gummy Flintstones don't have enough of what we need in them.  You need the Flintstones Complete.

I was told if i take the gummies instead to take like 6 per day???  That can add up to alot of dollars per month huh

I take 3 Flintstones Complete (Costco brand or Target Brand).  We were specifically told NO gummies.  At 6 per day that would get very pricey.
