Medical ALert Bracelets???
NG = nasogastric tube insertion. A tube inserted in the nose to the stomach. It is used for either feeding or removing stomach contents.
If done "blind" on someone with an RNY stomache it can result in perforation of stomach or intestine.
Not sure how one inserts one non-blind? Perhaps some kind of special camera scope or extra care? ER docs would know what it means.

Yes! Now we are talking! http://www.americanmedical-id.com/marketplace/category.php?scrollcat=brac_lynx
I allready wear one very much like that that is not a medical ID bracelet but is titanium just like those ones. Titanium is the only metal I can wear without an allergic reaction. So after living with my metal allergy my whole life, once I discovered the awesome phenomena of titanium, I was so happy to finally be able to wear metal that I found me a nice titanium bracelet and have been able to wear it for 2 years now without a single reaction. So I am happy to see a medical id bracelet that is so similar to what I allready wear. Wouldn't have to get used to wearing it.
I am also allergic to plastic, so those other ones with the nylon/plastic bands would not work for me. But titanium is awesome!

Okay, then the question is, why are Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs bad for a GB patient?
