Spring Fling Workout Challenge - If you are slacking, think swim suit!

Hey Everyone,

It's hard to get motivated when you look out the window and forget what color the sun is and grey is the new blue    But now is the time to stay on track with Movin and Losin    Trust me, before you know it Spring will be here and you will start thinking of pretty dresses, flowers, shorts and the "S" word......SWIM SUIT   
If you have been taking our challenge and working out you will be excited to buy that swim suit....we have plenty of time, but lets get going

hey kathy!!

i've joined a gym and signed up for 8 weeks of personal training.  it's made a great deal of difference in simply feeling like i CAN be a fit person.  so right now, i'm strength training 4 x per week and cardio 3 x per week, plus tango and belly dancing just for fun.

i wish i could see results, but none to note as of yet.  no change in the scale.  been at 178 for 6 weeks. no drop in measurements.  my body continues to fight against this.  i hate that!  but i'm gonna keep going until "it" happens!

Didn't get to my second workout yesterday but I was glad I got in what I did.  Today I'm leaving the abs alone (well I'm not isolating my workout to the abs at least) and doing some rowing and elliptical along with my weight circuit.  Then I'm taking the kiddos for a swim at the Y pool.

Due to a snow storm in SC (we are not used to that) and power outages - I stayed in my friend house (my house had a power - but he insisted... and they had a great party... ).
So today I am finally getting to my house 9after work - I did work both days) and I will be able to use my new machine.   My friend helped me (actually he did most of the work and I helped him) and my machine is ready for trial.  I will report if it is as good as the one on the ship.  If i will be able to walk tomorrow - it is not.
So today - plan to do some workout.  lunges, walking, stepping, and gets shaking while doing that.   

I load on some more carbs today .. so I am ready...

Today was a cardio day for me so 60 minutes on the incline treadmill going between 10% and 30% incline. Three weeks and counting til I go to Florida for spring break and that means a swimsuit.
