I find the line between "fits me like a glove" and "bursting out of it" is usually defined by our own feelings of how we are doing with our process. At least it's that way for me.

The omega flaxseed cereal gave me a carb coma this morning - either that -or my body was in need of a lot of sleep.  I hate carb comas but nothing really sounded good to eat to me this morning.

B:  Omega flaxseed cereal (like granola but minus the sugar grams)
S:  I slept too long
L:  Ham slices
S:  Greek yogurt and a few blueberries
D:  I am making sloppy joe mix again - it really seems to be something that I like that my pouch can stomach...

I've been working on normalizing my sleep schedule over the last week, and it's working well. I'm getting myself out of bed in the morning at a decent hour! I had my first full-on training session with the personal trainer this morning. I'm going to be sore tomorrow, but I was so impressed with the strength I've gained. I was doing things that would have had be panting and wheezing before!

Tonight I'm having a Top Chef cooking party with some friends. We're cooking some Rick Bayless recipes (he won Top Chef masters) and then watching the new episode. It should be fun.

B: 1 slice Orowheat Protein Health bread with Simply Jif and a drizzle of agave nectar, 1/2 banana, protein coffee (45 minutes after eating)
L: Chick Fil A southwest chargrilled salad with a little bit of Ranch
S: 1/4 cup nuts, 1/4 Kashi Cinnamon Harvest, cheese stick
S: Another PB& agave sandwich, Carbmaster yogurt
D: Fiesta! I'm planning some chips with guacamole, chipotle meatballs, a couple bites of rice and beans, and part of chocolate pecan pie bar. Hopefully it will be delicious!

Activity: 40 minutes walking, 40 minute personal training session

My pain after eating is back. Darn.  It starts 15-30 min after I eat dense food or food with fiber. it lasts 30-90 min and then it passes.  So - me thinks - twisted something inside - or partial blockage.  Cal the doc and we wait and see - possible surgery - though I do not have time this or next week.  So -next 2 weeks - I have to very careful what and how much I eat.  no more than 4 oz at a time and mostly mushy - easy to go down food.  That also mean  - that I am hungry - most of the time.  I hope I can last next 3+ weeks. back to liquid diet - protein shakes - and mushy food.

B: coffee + protein shake, 1 tbs PB
S: protein crisps
L: 2 oz soy nuts (bad idea - I can feel them inside me now, traveling down)
S: protein shake (I hope that will push the nuts down lol )
S: yogurt or cottage cheese.. or protein shake
D: may risk some fish - since at night - if hurting - I can take a pain pill.

Busy as a cat trying to find its way out of a gunnysack today! (OK, I made that up just to make y’all laugh, but it did sound kinda like one of those Southern colloquialisms of my youth….well sorta). ANYWAY as far as what I am doing today: working til 6 tonight then going to the gym after that, followed by a billion things to do at home. Tomorrow I have to be at work at 7:30 am so I imagine it will be an early night for me tonight. Here’s the food today:

D: salad (spring mix, cukes, tomatoes, boiled egg, 2 oz of leftover steak, & cubes of frying cheese) with RF bacon ranch dressing
LNS: nachos with Fage & salsa

Edited: to correct what I really ended up eating
