SUGAR...
I've dumped twice. First time was on one prune (too concentrated I think). Second time was on 1/4 cup of Ivars Clam Chowder (too much fat). Both were around the three/four month mark.
I have been careful ever since, and don't want to know if I would still dum*****t. I just assume I will, therefore I avoid the sugars if at all possible (I'm Kathy, and I'm a Candyholic).
Take Care, and Happy Holidays to you!

Every morning in Africa , a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

well, you're so early out i don't think this needs to occupy you much at this time
i can only say i eat sugar. and can eat lots of it. in fact, its one of the easier things i can eat. no dumping in sight
this might be what you want. yet others don't mind not having sugar anymore. or like they used to. if i "dumped" on sugar i don't think i would mind so much. i'd learn to live with it
but its nice having sugar, sure. i think one day you will be able to, also. most of us can (WLS people) it would seem. or many of us, at least

IMO
A little sugar is okay but too much at a time will put me to sleep literally. I don'r have any other discomfort though. I can't sleep all the time so I do watch the amount of sugar.

Just so u know...my "step" Grandma had WLS at 70, 4 years ago. The doctors & everyone else assumed she would be sensitive to many of the symptoms b/c of her age.........YEAH, RIGHT!
She eats literally WHATEVER she wants, whenever. BUT, out of about almost a 200 lb loss, she has regained about 80, I would say. So, yea, she can go to a restaurant & order what she wants from the menu, but isnt happy about her lack of self control.
