GO-LYTLY
Yes, my wife had to drink a gallon of that stuff. It was during her 2nd readmission to the hospital, with possible surgery to see why she hadn't gone #2 for over 10 days. It was about 18 hours later, 2 hours before the scheduled surgery, when "the dam broke" and surgery was cancelled. DAVE

I had to do Milk of Magnesium for 2 days, protein shakes 2 days before and clear liquids on the final day before surgery. GOOD LUCK on your surgery tomorrow. I can't wait to go to sleep and wake up and shower and go to the hospital tomorrow.
I pray all the surgeries go well tomorrow, speedy recovery, and good health to everyone.

I consider myself very lucky, my doc only required clear liquids 24 hours prior to surgery. But....when I had a colonscopy a few months ago I had to do the mag citrate routine. Oh my goodness that was an experience!!! I took 10 hours to do its "magic." Nothing could mask the taste no matter what is suggested!!
Yup, I've got to do it! Looking forward to it- not!!!
