Hi Everyone,
My name is Jean and I am 44.
I live in Long Beach, CA with my husband and 2 girls.
I had surgery on 6-24-2010, and luckily, I am feeling great.
I found OH by reseaching WLS and surgeons on the internet before I even made an appointment for a consultation.  Then, my doctor suggested it as well!  

I am totally addicted to OH and so glad to have the support of so many great people.  It has been a wonderful resource.

Obsessive with the site at the moment...I check in the morning before work as well as sometimes at lunch, sometimes after work and always before bed.  My first stalking relationship and so far it is going well ;-).  I think that at some point this will slow down maybe about the same time I stop weighing in everyday more than once a day...so add obsessive compulsive to the stalking profile and you have me just about covered! LOL!

How you found out about OH: My husband who has been a member and is heading for surgery as well, He's on the VSG board. 

But I am also a type II insulin dependent diabetic on a pump, have GERD, and a host of other issues, so our surgeon felt that the RNY was my best option.

I found out about this site at my bariatric support group meeting!!! Yay one week post-op and feeling grrrrrrrreat!!

How you found out about OH - I believe it was in the material that I received from the doctor's office when I went for the informational seminar.

I'm more than 3 months out, but I have been mostly lurking until recently. This website, your website, Pam's website, and eggface's website have been wonderful. I'm addicted to all of them.
