Drink what? LOL! You usually have to wash your vitamins down with something, I mostly take capsules so I can do it no other way!

I know what you mean though I don't know the answer.......I have wondered myself if drinking after taking those large pills and capsules will stretch the stoma by forcing them through? Just don't see any way to avoid it.

Except for taking your vitamins with a sip or two of water I was told not to drink after. My doc said vitamins, cold tablets, pain medications, etc all need to be allowed to sit in the stomach for a certain period of time for absorbtion. His rule is don't drink after anything you want to stay in your system. (The same theory works the other way around - something you don't want in your stomach, drink water to flu**** out). His guideline was 15-20 minutes.

I have always taken my vitamins once at night and in the morning with a protein shake.  My Dr said it was fine and I drink after.  My levels are all perfect so I must be doing something right!
