scrambled eggs

My first soft meal was scrambled eggs made with non fat milk in the microwave.  It was wonderful and I tolerated it well.  The next time I dumped.  Thinking I just ate them too fast I tried again a few weeks later.  Well, I got through half the egg and could feel that uncomfortable feeling on the verge of another dump.  Anyone else have this problem?

SOme people have a hard time with eggs. Make sure when you scrambled them that they aren't "over cooked" ie.. dry. That might help. I find that I can tolerate a "fried" egg better than scrambled. I add 2 teaspoons of olive or canola oil to the pan, than eith hard cook it or make a omelet of sorts.
It's a great day to be alive.

When I switched to pureed foods, I attempted hard cooked egg white "egg salad" that I pureed in my chopper.  It did not sit well at all.  Scrambled egg whites go down without any problem and keep me full for hours.  Give it a little time and try it again in a few weeks or maybe try them cooked a different way.  Eggs seem to be a food that a lot of pouches get finicky about.

Some have trouble with eggs. A bite or two is all we can usually handle at first. It will be a while before you can eat a whole scrambled egg. IT's just too much volume right away.

i could not eat eggs like that until i was almost 4 months out... the only way i could eat eggs before 4 months is if it was egg salad and the eggs hd to be cut very very very small pieces.. maybe ur pouch just is not ready for them yet

I can tolerate a scrambled egg better than I can an over easy egg (which I love).  Right now I don't do eggs much.  For breakfast I have turkey sausage links and a cheese stick.  It is weird how one time you can eat something but then when you try it again your pouch doesn't like it.  Are bodies are such complicated things.  :)

I do okay with eggs, but they have to be real eggs, not the Egg Beaters.  I tried the Egg Beaters and I felt like crap the rest of the day.  A couple of days later, I tried a "fried" egg and got about half of it down and it went over great.  Egg salad also goes down really well.  But I can't do re-fried beans at all, weird isn't it?

just had my first scrambled egg, (on purees now!) and mixed in a bit of fat free cottage cheese as it kept them moist and added a good protein.  I could only eat half, but went down well!  no issues at all.  I used a pan sprayed with cooking spray to cook them, but cooked on low heat and kept stirring so they did not get too dry and took them out as soon as they were done.

I have lost all interest in eggs.  They don't sit well with me and they have no appeal at all anymore.  You would think that they would be among the easiest foods for us to eat once we're at that stage, but for some reason they were difficult for me.  And now I just don't want them at all.
