ACK...the dreaded first stall hit me

I was hoping I would be the exception, but I've been stalled for a week.  Taking the advice of many knowlegable RNYers, I am intaking LOTS of water and watching the carb intake.

Also, to make myself feel better, after 2 years I got my hair cut professionally (but I dyed it myself).  I'm giving myself a facial and tweezing my eyebrows (per the advice given on What Not to Wear).

So, even though I'm only down 26 pounds in 3.5 weeks and I haven't lost anything in a week, I'm feeling feminine and pretty for the first time in years!

So...advice for others at a stall, do something else to yourself to make yourself feel good, cause it makes you feel like a million bucks!

I am right where you are - surgery 3/1, weight down 26.5 lbs in three weeks, didn't lose for five days...but finally today a loss of another pound.

I am trying to do nice things for myself - glad you are too! I am trying the gym today for the first time since surgery.

What are you eating right now?

26 pounds in 3.5 weeks?   Wow that is great!  Give your body time to recooperate from something that incredible!

I agree with iisem!  You have done increditable.  What a wonderful idea to take the time  to focus on the outer you by giving you some glam treatment during the stall.  I'm going to have to make a note to do exactly that when I hit my stall.  Good luck on your progress!
