Drink Question
So, I hate the taste of water. I know it's unnatural, but I do. I started out, and still do sometimes, drinking de-caf iced tea with splenda. And, I mean alot of splenda, so I decided to cut back on that a little and drink bottled water with something like crystal light, ocean spray, ect. Well, the other day, I ran across sugar free hawiian punch in about 6 different flavors. I bought one just to see how it tasted. Lemon-berry was it I think, anyway, it was the bes****er additive I've ever had! I then looked on the box and it is sugar free, but it does have 5 calories per serving. I figure me drinking water at any rate without half of it being filled with artificial sweetner is better. I know this has artificial sweetener too, but not as much as this southern girl was puttin' in that tea!! I bought all the other flavors except one or two, and they are all really good. And they're only a dollar a box, compared to crystal light etc. So, I'm averaging about 25 calories from these drinks a day, and then I have a protein fruit drink and a little tea. What do you guys think? Is this a horrible habit to introduce empty calories, or me feeling more hydrated a fair trade off? I do feel less "dry" when I drink these. What's your opinion?
I drink crystal light CONSTANTLY so if 5 calories per serving hasn't killed me yet.... It's better to be hydrated and have some little extra calories than dehydrated.....

Thanks guys, that makes me feel alot better! By the way, I got them at the Dollar General and at Wal-mart. Both places had them for $1. I was wrong, I only bought 4 flavors. Berry blue typhoon, Berry limeade blast, fruit juicy red, and lemon berry squeeze. They also had stuff I dont like, like strawberry etc. I even gave my 6 year old daughter some and she said it was delicious! No extra sweetener that I put in either, like some of the other brands. They do sound like kid drinks, but I dont care, I'm hydrated, and it keeps me from getting sick of the same flavor over and over.
I can still drink plain water, and get most of my fluids from that. But I also drink SF Koolaid, the tabs you can just drop in, as well as SF Hawiian Punch, Crystal light, decaf coffee, and anything else SF that sounds appealing. My friends laugh at the Koolaid, lol. I generally like my flavored drinks somewhat more dilute so I add crushed ice and let them sit a little while before drinking. Oh yeah, I also drink Gatorade G2 occasionally, not for the ingredients, but because I like the taste of the fruit punch one. It all counts as fluids...as do protein drinks.

I LOVE the Grape Hawaiian Punch and so do my husband and son. I buy it all the time. I have not found any Crystal Lite flavors that I like. Ocean Spray also has some cranberry add ins that are pretty good although a bit strong so I don't put a whole package in.
I found a sugar free, non carbonated canned drink also. Tropicana Light Orangeade has 5 calories per 12 oz can and it is "Out of this world" good!! Tastes like real oranges.
