Pasta Sauce

Does anyone know of a pasta sauce that isn't high in surgar or really sweet? I've been so hungry for pasta but can't find a sauce that agrees with my pouch.  Everything I have tried has upset it so bad and makes me so nauseated.

Are you eating the pasta too? Or just looking for the sauce? You're pretty early out to be experimenting with pasta so you might want to find an alternative -- like zucchini "noodles" or something like that. Or just bake some thick pasta sauce with a topping of mozz cheese.

I have my favorite pasta sauce recipe on my blog... it's made from "scratch" rather than using a pre-made sauce in a jar.  http://pamtremble.blogspot.com/2011/02/spaghetti-and-meat-sauce.html

Trader Joe's has a low sugar spaghetti sauce.  If you don't have one locally, check on Amazon, alot of their stuff is on there.

I use the Ragu no sugar added sauce and there is also a no sugar added sauce from Hunts.

I totally agree with that!  Is the only way to know exactly what is in the sauce.  No jar sauce in my house, but there again, what Italian would?

If you are eating the pasta, I would think it was that causing the issues.  There are some SF/no sugar added ones out there.

hey lady...try making your own.
I use diced tomatoes, tomato paste, onions, garlic, spinach, mushrooms (and any other veggies I have in the house)...stew it all together, add some salt/pepper/italian seasoning, mmmm!
