You're only a week out of surgery and having candy?  Please stop.

For a "fruit chew" type thing, try bariatric advantage calcium chews.  Remember where starburst got us.

i know sweetie.  Trust me, I am waiting for my BA chews to come in the mail as we speak.  Yester day when I posted pt1, someone referred them to me and I called right away.  And surprisingly the Starburst did not taste the same.

Not trying to give you a hard time -- starburst were a weakness of mine too.  Some things we just simply cannot have in the house.  EVER.

Are you still on pureed / soft foods?  I remember just wanting to chew something.  I really don't have any tips for dealing with that - I just managed to get through.  In the grand scheme, it's a short time.... but so is our "honeymoon" for weight loss.  Try to stick with the plan.

The BA calcium chews taste like starbursts (or so I've been told.  I've only tried them once).

I get the crystal light chews at Walmart, but yes--you probably shouldn't be eating them yet...

You had your surgery 2 days before me and I am still on clear liquids next is full yogurt, cottage cheese and the like...why in the hell are you eating candy? Eating a vitamin that is like a candy is totally different then actually eating CANDY! you are setting yourself up to fail.

Everyone is different through this. Everyone's surgeon has different guidelines. I honestly don't think that one piece of candy has ever caused anyone's inevitable failure.

Yeah, we reset patterns after surgery, but, i applaud being able to stop at one piece. Pre-surgery me would have laughed at that.
