I am so sore today

I know it's from the ECT.  I took some Flexoril last night but I'm still very, very sore.  I'm sore in muscles I don't think I even knew I had.  Who knew you have muscle in your chest, like under your boobs?  Well, apparently I do, 'cause they hurt.  I'm using a heating pad and I'm gonna take a hot bath in a bit, and I think the muscle soreness is worth it if it the treatment helps the depression, but... ow.

thank goodness for Flexoril.   Heres to it helping the depression.  Is it a one time treatment?

Oh no.  Three times a week for two to four weeks (depending on how I'm doing after two weeks, I guess), then once a week for one month, then every other week for a month or two, then once a month for a few months.  It will be a long time before I'm done.   I wi**** was only a one time thing.

I wonder if the soreness is due to the (anesthetized/controlled) seizures associated with the treatment?   It would make sense that there would be sore muscles if that is the case.

I'd call the doc's office to ask about what the patients bodily reactions are while under.

I'm glad you had the muscle relaxer to alleviate the soreness.  They can offer great relief!

I'm sure that's what it is.  They said I might be sore.
