Wow.  Sorry to hear that.  I would be irritated, too!  A "scheduling error"?!?  What, the surgeon forgot he had a pressing golf game?!?  Good grief.

Truly, though... hang in there one more day (you can be as pissed as you feel like!), and 6 months from now, you will be so excited about your weight loss and increased energy level and new clothes that you will barely remember the delay!  I WOULD, however, mention it to the surgeon's office and ask WTH happened!

What hospital are you having your surgery at? I would have not been too happy had mine been rescheduled, especially with having to deal with short term disability and my work scheduled. I hope all goes well for you on Wednesday

Sinai in Baltimore.... not very familiar with them & this isn't leaving a very good opinion.... Pretty lobby though and they have a kosher wing of their cafeteria.

That was one of our choices of hospitals. My hubby and I did lots of research on the hospitals and the doctor's to decide on the right one for us. We went to John's Hopkins Bayview for our RNY. No regrets. The staff at the hospital was great and our surgeon is absolutely wonderful. I would recommend anyone that is looking to have surgery in our area to check them out. Well hopefully things will go as planned now and no more last minute changes. Good Luck on Wednesday.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!!! It's really helped me to hear how normal it is to be miffed. A few hours later (after my internet decided to work again) I'm finally at the place where I can have some perspective and know in the grand scheme of things it won't be but a mild blip. Unless they reschedule me again. Then I'm gonna bomb the building. Just kidding.

OK at least this change isn't life-altering.... surgery's still going to be tomorrow (allegedly) but now at 8:30a instead of 7:45a. I can handle that.
