Is there a search engine here?  I would love to be able to search previous posts for specific information...

Best supplements/vitamins, protein shakes, menu ideas, etc etc...

Also, what is a NUT?  I'm trying to catch up and learn the lingo.

Thanks, Sheryl

At the very top of the page on the right hand side you will see a box that says "search".
A NUT is the nutritionalist or dietician.
The best supplements/vitamins, protein shakes, etc are subjective.  What I love you may hate.  It really is a learning experience.  Have you had surgery yet?  If not you may find your taste may change afterwards so I wouldn't buy any huge containers of anything just yet.

When I first starting lurking here I thought the NUT was the psychiatrist  .  Took me a few days to realize it is the nutritionist.

As Ladytazz pointed out, there IS a search function, but even when I remember the post I am looking for, and know some of the key words that were in it, I often STILL cannot find it with the Search function.

"Best" -- other than whey protein being the preferred type nutritionally, and collagen protein being almost useless -- is really a matter of what YOU like and will drink.

I find the search on this site a bit useless.

So I go google.com and use a quick hack.

So if I'm looking for recipes in obesity help I type the following:

In google: Recipies site:obesityhelp.com

The magic is "site:obesityhelp.com" because it limits the search results to the obesityhelp website.

Before the surgery I kept putting things off. I was never good enough. One of the benefits of WLS is that you start to believe in yourself. Check out my blog:

thanks for your answers. My surgery is May 4th. Now that I have been approved.... and it's really happening I need to get prepared.
