So...when you drink you protein, do you count it as a meal or is it considered part of your liquids? I am still trying to get this all figured out.

It counts towards both your liquid and protein daily goals. However, when you are further out (on the solid stage) it's best to try and get as much protein as possible from food rather then drinks; you have to be careful because it's very easy to drink your calories.

My surgeon told us to count it as a meal/snack (we did 3 "meals" and 3 "snacks" per day early out... but very early out, the meals and snacks are about the same size because you can only consume so much!) AND to count the liquid towards your water total for the day, but other surgeons look at it different ways.
