one shot a year!!!

ok would the once a month shot for osteoporisis help us plus take calcium on top of that?Reclast,I think its called....just wondering.

Probably better call your surgeon.  I'm not sure any of us know enough about this yet as it is fairly new.  I know I sure don't.

Your surgeon should though.  Please let us know what you find out.  It would be great to be able to get the shot once a year, but something tells me that it's too good to be true....

Relcast is as an alternative to taking Fosamax etc. It is in the same class of medications. Your labs have to be checked prior to taking but it can be nice. Yes, it is once a year. It does nothing if you are not taking your calcium.
