You are way too early out to even consider toast, in my not-so-humble opinion.  Hopefully others will give you ideas (I've never had a problem with constipation so I have no words of wisdom).

I was probably six weeks out.  On a regular diet.  Unless you're gonna puree that toast, I wouldn't try it at least until Tuesday (and I would not eat pureed toast, either).

Make sure you drink a TON with all those fiber supplements, otherwise you'll end up making matters worse.

I am seven weeks out and I can't eat bread or toast yet. I tried some whole grain wheat toast with peanut butter (half a slice) and it didn't go down well at all. I am waiting until about three months to try again.

Colace didn't help much with my constipation, but adding a dose of Miralax once a day in my protein shake does. Its working well.

I was about 8 or 9 weeks out before a slice of wheat toast was on my plan. How about some unsweetened apple sauce? It has fiber and you can always add protein powder to it. If you can eat oatmeal, Quaker weight control oatmeal has 7 grams of protein and fiber in each packet. You should be able to have refried beans which are great fiber at this point. I mix Miralax with crystal light every few days to keep me going.

I tried whole wheat toast once since being released to a full diet at the beginning of April.  I didn't like the way it sat in my pouch, so I haven't had any since then.  I believe it's probably too early for you to try it.
I don't know how long you've been constipated, but I was for almost a week after surgery and I kept taking the colace 2 x daily and it finally worked on about day 6!  Another food that can help would be sugar-free applesauce (made with splenda) or how about some baby food that has fruit such as plums, just be careful of the sugar content.  I don't know what your NUT's rules are, but mine is 10 gm of sugar or less per serving.  And if nothing works, call your doc and see what they suggest.  Good luck.

Even with my suregon's very liberal post-op eating plan (soft foods on day 3 or 4, usually before even leaving the hospital for those who had open surgery), wheat toast was NOT permitted at only 2 weeks out.  Your pouch is still very tender from the surgery and eating something so "rough" may well cause pain and the very small amount of wheat toast taat you could eat is unlikely ot help your constipation  issue anyway.

I was 4 months+ (on regular foods) and the first 3-4 times it didn't go down well at all. I take 3 Colace at night (says it works better at night?) and LOTS of water! Unsweetened applesauce I ate nightly until I was "regular", I ate it after my nightly medicine doses.
