time to count our blessings
1. My mother and my sister spent the day at my house and they helped with some cleaning and cooking. Now I have some chili, homemade soup, and red beans and rice in the fridge to reheat. I'll have tasty, healthy food all week.
2. We also made really yummy orange cookies.
3. My partner's father called to tell us he wants to give us some gas money because it's about a 90 minute drive to the hospital for my ECT treatments three times a week.
4. My car, which periodically breaks down in various ways, is running just great right now.
5. My cat just finished her chemotherapy and her cancer is in remission.
6. I think maybe the ECT is starting to work. I would not say I feel great but I have not cried in a few days, which is a huge improvement.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.

I'm so happy about your cat and that the ECT is starting to work! Yeah Kelly! Big hugs and I hope it keeps up that way!

I'm grateful that I have a JOB, and that I'm valued in that job
I'm grateful for my friends here who have uplifted me so completely during the last six weeks as I've gone through a very trying time in my life. And who continue to give back. I get thanks for what I contribute, but I know that I get back ten-fold what I put into this place.
I'm grateful for the chance to be a thin person
I'm grateful for my intelligence and talents. I'm so totally blessed in my life. I can only hope that the blessings that are so abundant continue to be so throughout my life. The most importtant things/needs are well met, and what more can a person ask for?
I am blessed to have a job that isn't WORK but is a joy to do, fulfilling both spiritually and intellectually.

Especially happy that your cat is in remission. My eldest has been fighting lymphoma and adenocarcinoma and is at the oncologist's right now. I'm only 5 days out so I couldn't go with. She'd finished her last chemo before my surgery but the ultrasound showed inflamation in the pancreas, so we're praying that it's not metastatic.....
