Stomach problems now?

I have done pretty good all along since my surgery other than I had trouble for a while getting in the amount of food/calories my NUT wanted me to get....I resolved that and after my 2 month appt. was getting in a minimum (set by my nut) of 800 calories daily at least 90% of the time.
So here's my new problem.  The past 4 days I have been having trouble even reaching 500 calories.  It literally feels like my pouch has grown smaller.  I know that's not possible, but that's what it feels like.  When I measure out my food now as I have done from the beginning it starts hurting my pouch about halfway through the meal and I HAVE to stop.  I don't think it's a stricture as I can eat, just not as much as I was.  Please, does anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

To increase calories, try  having more foods in protein that are slider foods....like a sloppy joe filling...you can make one  by adding a little bullion to make it just a little thinner...
or another idea is to just have two mini meals of  soft proteins, or using high protein powder in sugar free hot cocoa... Remember hot foods move down quicker than cold ones... so to increase protein intake with this,... have  a cup of  it about an hour before your scheduled meal....it will have time to move down and your pouch will be well emptied before meal time...
My surgery was completely different from yours, but I sometimes have thae same problem..... .part of the problem may be the change in the enzymes that your body releases signaling hunger.... that is a good side effect, you need to make the most of using it while you have it, be sure you get in your  protein and   complex carbs, protein metabloism requires complex carbs, but we have a tendancy to want the simple carbs, like fruit.   Hope these ideas help, sweetpotato

are you eating different foods?  chewing very well?  I have a lot of trouble with chicken and salmon feeling very full very fast.  If you have added something different, take it out of your menu and try the simple things like cottage cheese/yogurt/cheese,  hope you feel better fast.

Thank you both.  I haven't added anything recently.  I will try your suggestions though :)
