8 weeks today!!!!
It's been 8 weeks. As you can see from my ticker my loss is not as outstanding (post RNY) as many people in the same spot - but that's okay. I still think I am doing great.
I think our age, etc. has a big effect on our loss. I am 51 and post menopausal. Wondering if anyone elee starting at that point experienced the same kind of loss.
At 8 weeks I have lost about 8% of my total weight from my day of surgery weight, and about 20% of the total weight I would like to lose to get to my goal of 165.
Would love to hear your thoughts. When I look at the numbers in % I feel even better about the loss.
So post menopausal women - chime in. Please share your experience with me. (others feel free to - just curious to hear from my flashin' sisters!!! lol)

Tessie. You and I had our surgery one day apart. Like you I am 52 and post menopause. Things are going ok. Weight loss steady. Currently in a stall but I know from the OH team that i will get past it. Took me a alot of time to get to my top weight so I figure it will take a little work to get it down. I/We are up to the challenge. Talk to you soon.
Hi Tessie, we had our surgeries about 3 days apart and we're both right at the same weight lost(I actually weighed more than what the ticker says, the day of surgery..oops). I'm 32, no-menapausal, and disabled so I don't excercise except if you count aqua therapy! So, no you are not going slow, I think we're right at normal. Not unusually fast and not alarmingly slow. "Slow and steady wins the race!!!" Well, I'm not quite steady, I have had a couple of stalls, so that let's me know I really am losing really good.....when I'm losing.

I only strive to be, the kind of person my dogs think I am!
