I WANT A BURGER!!!
First, I want to know where you get sandwich thins!! I think I love them, the stats look good, but what about carbs? Second, the beef/hamburger idea is fine if you are on solid food, but you have to be ready if your stomach wants no part of it!! I have tried chicken on several occasions and it was about my favorite meat pre-op and a pretty "gentle" one I thought, but of the times I've tried it, I'd say, probably half the time I, at least, get the foamies!! At least. My pouch just sometimes will not have it!!
So, far my stomach is fine with hamburger, actually, does pretty much, better with that than any other meat, so far. I usually have browned it in a frying pan with taco seasoning, then of course the cheese and greek yogurt for sour cream. I'm not sure if it's the greek yogurt that helps because of the moisture, but I eat it all the time. I say try it if you want, but probably do it at home to make sure everything's cool the 1st time. Good Luck!
Here in NY, you can get a high fiber, high protien, whole wheat wrap (flour tortilla) and they are only 71 calories. If you make your burger and steam it, all the grease comes out and goes down in the water, so VERY low fat and very moist (easy to the pouch). I steam and slow boil almost all of my meat now:)
