carbonated water
No offense taken ^_^ I was trying to say as nicely as I could that ppl take it too dang seriously.."omg I cant have a drink of soda because my pouch will stretch and I'll fail from that and that alone" ... I think it's all about control. They tell us to stay away from SOME of the stuff because it's a normal "trigger" food for most. Soda never was a problem for me but more of a treat so dangit if i want soda :) I drink it. Now today, I had one of my old favorites...chili cheese dip...I have figured out that no I dont dump on it ...yes its yummy and NO I cannot stop once I start eating it..so I have told my fiance I'm not allowed to have it anymore unless it's a spoonfull on some chips with meat as a once a month treat or something. I just get tired of ppl worrying about stretching the pouch..it would take a LONG time of overeating and bad habits again to stretch it ...thats why I put in the "limit yourself" thing . I really just dont know how to word things anymore without ppl getting upset and I surely take myself out of any "this surgery is better than that surgery" posts asap lol. ^_^ you're very right though and you said just what I was trying to say! =)

a total of 271 lbs lost!!
Depends on your surgeon and on you... some surgeons permit carbonated drinks in moderation once the pouch is fully healed.... other surgeons say no carbonation ever (and some people follow that and some people don't)...

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
