Are there protein juices?

I do an unflavored whey in diet v8 splash all the time.

Pure Protein has these fruit flavored protein shots that I usually dilute in about 6 to 8 oz. of water depending on how sweet you like and they have a whopping 50 grams of protein.  You can get them at Target and I believe GNC has them too!  :)

Sorry to tell you this, but despite the word "whey" on the front of the tube, these are the same old collagen based protein "shots"/"bullets" made of primarily collagen protein (which is crap... a waste of your calories).  If you look at the nutrition label you will see that the protein is "Proprietary Protein Blend (Hydrolyzed Collagenic Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Isolate, Casein Protein Isolate)"

Even if you believe that they have the necessary amino acids to be absorbed (and I'm not sure that I do based on some other "sleazy" marketing nonsense with these items), 50g of collagen protein is nowhere NEAR what your body would get from 50g of straight whey protein isolate.  Please do not risk your health by gambling on how much of this inferior protein your body can actually use.

Thanks for the info... I hadn't actually read the ingredients.... Since I saw the whey on the front label and since I already use their protein powder I just kind of trusted the product.  I will definitely never buy another protein shot again.  Thank you :)
