When did you hit your 1st stall?

I stalled at three weeks for eight days, then six weeks for ten days. My weight loss is averaging about 12 lbs per month right now, and I can't argue with that. I try to up my exercise and protein and zig zag my calories when I hit a stall.

Week #2, I didn't lose an ounce. I hit some stalls along the way that lasted about 3 weeks. I ended up losing 185 pounds though, so hang in there, they don't last forever. :)

Hit stall at week 3. It lasted a few weeks with me going up and down 3 pounds. Broke when I uped my protein.

Three weeks post-op. I didn;t do anything because my surgeon told me it would happen and that there was nothing that I *could* do... my body needed time to regoup and the weight loss would restart all on it's own. Just be patient. Your body has been through A LOT and does not need you trying to force it to do something it is not ready to do.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Well this post was a tad bit depressing seeing that I am currently in Week 3.  Oh well, I'll keep my chin up, even if I hit this infamous stall!

I am at 4.5 months and have lost maybe 5# for the month.  Seems that the entire month has been in a stall and wonder if I'll get passed it but I know I'm doing all the right things so will just have to be patient and wait it out....

Hang in there...

SIX WEEKS! And I not only stalled - but I GAINED 6 lbs! WHAT??!?

I write EVERYTHING I eat, exercise, get my protein, vitamins, and water in - and I GAINED 6 lbs??! Anywho... I just kept plugging along... now at just about 9 weeks post-op, I lost those 6 and I'm down another 4. So - don't get frustrated. It DOES happen. Re-evaluate what you're doing - make sure you're doing what you'r supposed to. If you are - just hang in there! Your body is just adjusting. If you're not, make some changes - and step it up a bit!
