Why is running not considered cardio in the pie chart that breaks out your activities? If nobody knows the answer it's fine, but running IS cardio, right? I wouldn't count it as strength training, and it's definitely not "lifetstyle and rmr" or whatever that is...

Don't use the tracker here.  I use Livestrong and dailymile.

I've noticed that the calories are kind of off for the various activities too... But some of the different running exercises count as cardio, and some dont. I just switched it to one that does count, but I'll probably be taking your advice anyway. Thanks!

Calories for an activity are based on some law of averages.  If you put faith in them you may or may not be disappointed.  If you really want to know you calorie burn you need something that will take heart rate and such in to account.  I use my Garmin when working out for every form of exercise because it does calories burned based on heart rate.  The differences sometimes are minimal but others they can be huge.

here is a good article that talks about estimating your calorie burn.

I don't use the app here either and I know Paul gave you some suggestions as well. I know you have the ipod touch, you might check out lose it one of their free app's as well. They also have a online site for your desk top (www.loseit.com) so you can down load and synch your information and do reports etc. I've found it pretty easy to use. It charts your food/exercise/protein/calories/etc. Heck, check out all the free ones and see which works for you.
